High Gothic Victorian Church Pew

  • This is a substantial High Victorian Gothic (1855 - 1885) church pew which came from a de-commissioned church in Shropshire.  Adhering to the rule declared by John Ruskin and his followers, that only materials available to the medieval cradftsmen should be used in the Revival, this pew delivers as is made from solid oak.  Wooden, carved tracery adorns each side panel in typical mediaval motifs, quarter foil and elongated trefoil.  Size: L2600mm x W460mm x H860mm  Ship opt 8/9
