Alabaster Eagles (pair)

  • Stunning pair of alabaster eagles, carved most likely by Italian hands and from the 20th century.  Both apex predators are shown perched on rocky ledges with heads straight.  One is slightly larger than the other, but it is not the male...males of most species tend to be bigger than females (think lions). But in most birds of prey and for all of North America's eagles, the females are bigger!  Size: H295mm (290mm) x W110mm (100mm) x D100mm at base.  3.5kg each!  Ship opt 3
